11/17/08 – Dayton, Ohio
Identity Theft and Internet Crimes is at an all time high. This is a global problem now reaching epidemic proportions. The facts behind this very compelling story will be revealed by CBS News, “The Early Show”, during the week of November 17 in a 3-part series. Of particular interest, on Nov. 18, 7:00 – 9:00 am, tune in the morning to watch the story of stolen identity, mystery, and intrigue regarding the businessman, race car driver, and model Robert Frost. Frost, whose modeling and racing photos were pirated by Internet scammers, has become a well-known face on hundreds of websites with thousands of fake identities. These identities have been created illegally for the purpose of preying upon unsuspecting victims primarily in Romance Scams. Frost’s photos have been used without his permission for almost 2-years and are now known as among the most widely used on the Internet in “crimes of the heart”.
Robert Frost states...”I am very excited that CBS News has taken a serious interest in our story and that they understand the importance of getting this information out to the public through the mainstream media. My sincere thanks goes out to everyone at CBS News that has been involved and supported our story. I have two main goals; create significant national and international attention so I can get my face back and use our Anti-Identity Theft initiative as a platform to educate and arm people everywhere. I am no longer a victim but have chosen to take control of this situation, to fight back, and do something positive to give everyone reliable information, hope, and vindication. Just about everyone is affected directly or indirectly by Identity Theft and in unity, this is our way of saying...We are not going to take this any longer. I hope everyone will join me and the countless others that have been diligently working to slam the door shut on Identity Theft and the scammers.”

AKA Bandit is proud to announce that Robert (Bob) Frost endorses AKA Bandit and has committed to be our official spokesperson.
